Cardinal Spirits opened their doors to Bloomington in February 2015. Since then they've been producing high quality vodka, gin, whiskey, rum, and liqueurs. Their Songbird Craft Coffee Liqueur was their first liqueur and is used in drinks that are now considered staple libations. In collaboration with their neighbor, Hopscotch Coffee, they were able to create their original recipe. I had the pleasure of learning about and documenting how it's all done.
